Trump takes heat from right over vaping crackdown

 President Trump is taking heat from GOP lawmakers and conservative groups who say that the administration is overreaching in their attempt to ban e-cigarette flavors.

 According to Paul Blair, director of strategic initiatives at Americans for Tax Reform, “It would be disastrous. Maybe not for the big guys who sell e-cigarettes like Juul, but for the more than 10,000 independent retailers whose sole business model is the sale of these products-these are the guys that would be put out of business overnight.” Americans for Tax Reform sent a letter to Trump last week insisting he abandon the plan to ban e-cigarette flavors.
